Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. After that, she acted on Broadway in various shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner made it famous at the National Theatre. In 1957, she also launched her first album of music called It's time for Tina. Louise started the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre a dramatic film. It was an enormous success and Louise earned the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. While in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationships to Lee Strasberg. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway, playing somber characters in order to dispel her image as a the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series as well as Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's gained recognition as a director on several well-known TV shows such as Supernatural. Born in Essex August 28th, 1965. The family moved to Toronto for her early years. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision for the role of lead.
